As part of the Annenberg Space for Photography's Iris Night Lecture Series, Kadir van Lohuizen discusses his project that explores contemporary migration in the Americas, from the very south of Chile to the very north of Alaska, and how the continents are shaped by colonialism and migration.
Kadir van Lohuizen has covered conflicts in Africa and elsewhere, but is probably best known for his long-term projects on the seven rivers of the world, the rising of sea levels, the diamond industry and migration in the Americas. He has received numerous prizes and awards in photojournalism.
